Course Overview

The Gathering of Light is a weekly community circle created to nourish the heart, strengthen faith, and share beneficial reminders in a calm and welcoming setting. We gather to remember Allah and His Messenger ﷺ in one of the most powerful ways — by sending salawāt upon him, drawing our hearts closer to his noble character and teachings.

Are children welcome?

Yes, everyone is welcome. This is a family-friendly gathering open to all ages, and children are warmly encouraged to attend with their families.

Is the gathering segregated for men and women?

Yes. There is full segregation with appropriate partitioning, in line with Islamic guidance, to ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone.

Do I need to wear any particular clothing?

No special clothing is required. Please come as you are — modest dress is encouraged, but there is no strict dress code.

Course Description

The Gathering of Light is a weekly reminder session centred on strengthening our faith, refining our character, and nurturing a deeper connection with Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

Each week, we come together for the beautiful recital of Dalā’il al-Khayrāt, uplifting nasheeds, and readings from “The Book of Our Master Muhammad ﷺ” by Imam `Abdallah Sirajuddin al-Husayni. These moments help us grow in love, reverence, and closeness to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

The gathering is family-friendly and welcoming, held in a respectful environment with appropriate segregation in line with Islamic guidance. It is open to all and free to attend, offering a peaceful space where hearts can be uplifted and faith renewed week after week.
