Arabic Language for Kids: Arabic in Our Kids’ Hands
Arabic in Our Kids’ Hands is a comprehensive course designed to teach the Arabic language to children, with the primary intention of giving them a stepping stone to understand the Quran and Hadith. By learning Arabic, children can significantly improve their relationship with God through a deeper comprehension of these sacred texts.

Course Curriculum
Week 1 – Getting Started with Arabic: Colours, Animals & Basic Phrases In Week 1, children were introduced to Arabic through engaging activities focused on colours, animals, and simple conversation phrases. They learnt new vocabulary using visual aids and flashcards, practised basic greetings, and explored the language through movement, games, and storytelling. A fun and confidence-building start to their Arabic journey!

Week 2 – Building Sentences: Verbs, Actions In Week 2, children moved from words by learning present-tense verbs and how to pair them with pronouns. Through games, role play, and outdoor activities, they practised using action-based vocabulary in real-life scenarios. The highlight was the shopping role play and the outdoor play learning session.

Week 3 – Revision This week students revise what they have done for the previous two weeks.

Week 4 – Numbers and Pronouns This week, we learnt numbers 1–10, along with introducing simple Arabic pronouns (both attached and detached) With verbs and vocab already learnt.
Children practised vocabulary through games, conversation, and roleplay, helping them use the language naturally. Clay animal crafts and painting activities were integrated to support hands-on learning and keep the sessions engaging.
We continue to build on vocabulary from previous weeks while encouraging more spoken Arabic through fun and interactive methods.

Week 5 – Question Words, Prepositions & Practical Conversation This week focused on expanding vocabulary, sentence construction, and practical conversation skills through interactive and engaging activities both indoors and outdoors. The children explored language in meaningful contexts while also enjoying movement and play.
